What our eight bakers
do each month
Two Sundays a month, eight little bakers gather in person to mix, roll, decorate and sell sugar cookies โ building skills, friendships and faith along the way.
1st & 3rd Sundays
Two in-person meetings every month.
Sugar cookies
Baking and decorating from scratch.
Cookie donations
We bake to give back and sell for good.
Faith & family
Christians who recite the creed together.
A meeting, step by step
Every Bloom Bakers meeting follows the same warm rhythm, so bakers always know what comes next โ and parents always know what their kids are learning.
- 1
Creed & welcome
We open every meeting by reciting the Bloom Bakers Club creed together โ our promise to bake with kindness, work as a team, and share what we make.
- 2
Bake the dough
Hands in the bowl! We mix and roll out sugar cookie dough, learning how flour, butter and sugar come together to make the perfect canvas.
- 3
Decorate with flair
Piping bags, sprinkles and royal icing. Each baker decorates their own cookies and practices flooding, outlines, and simple designs.
- 4
Talk time
We pause for talking time โ sharing stories, highs and lows, and building the friendships that make the club feel like family.
- 5
Package & sell
Bakers box up their cookies and run a simulated cookie sale, practicing customer service, making change, and confidence with people.
- 6
Donate & celebrate
Cookies go to a donation drive or community cause. We hand out badges, cheer birthdays, and close out the meeting together.
1st Sunday
We mix and chill the dough, learn that month's decorating technique, and practice on practice cookies. Lots of talking time and a snack to close.
3rd Sunday
We bake the real batch, decorate our take-home cookies, then package and run the cookie sale. Donations are collected and badges are handed out.

Baking with belief
Bloom Bakers are Christians. We open every meeting by reciting the Apostles' Creed and our Bloom Bakers Club Creed โ a kid-friendly promise that keeps our meetings kind, joyful, and centered on community. Bakers of every background are welcome to bake, learn and grow with us.
The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
The Bloom Bakers Club Creed
I am a Bloom Baker.I bake with kindness and share with joy.I work as a team and lift up my friends.I measure with care and decorate with love.I sell with honesty and give with a glad heart.I believe in God and trust His plan for me.Where there are cookies, there is community โand I am family.
A year of sweet skills
Each month builds on the last. Bakers earn a badge for every theme they complete โ and by the end, they can run their own cookie sale.
Sugar cookie basics
Mixing, rolling, chilling and cutting the perfect dough.
Royal icing & flooding
Outlines, floods and the first smooth-as-glass finish.
Piping & borders
Stars, shells, dots and beaded edges.
Wet-on-wet designs
Marbling and heart-and-flower inlays.
Character cookies
Faces, sprinkles and bringing cookies to life.
Cookie sale challenge
Bakers plan, price and run their own donation sale.
Simulated cookie sales
Bakers package their cookies and run a safe, simulated sale โ practicing greetings, making change, handling questions, and the confidence that comes with serving real customers.
Cookies for donations
The cookies we sell go to donation drives and community causes. Bakers learn that what they make with their hands can bless someone else's day.
Recruit a friend
Bakers can invite friends to join their chapter. A full chapter is eight bakers โ and every new friend helps another group of eight get started.
